Far too much of our current emphasis is on converting cow pastures into subdivisions on the east side of the county and along the SR 54/56 corridor.  We don’t need more bedroom communities for Tampa.  We need to attract good paying jobs to Pasco County.  We can start by spending more of our efforts on redeveloping West Pasco.

There are three parts to redeveloping West Pasco:

  1.  Take advantage of our natural resources.
  2. Define West Pasco as a hub for Arts, Culture, Dining and Entertainment.
  3. Attract quality jobs that eliminate the need for so many folks to head south each day to earn a living.
