The County’s tag line “Open Spaces, Vibrant Places” starts off by recognizing that much of what makes Pasco special are the variety of open spaces where both residents and visitors can enjoy nature.  From the Green Swamp in East Pasco, to the Seranova Tract in the middle of the county, to the James E Grey Preserve, the Starkey Wilderness Park, and the Salt Springs State Park in West Pasco, we are blessed with numerous opportunities to enjoy nature.

It is important for the county to both protect these resources and promote their use and enjoyment.  The county and the Tourist Development Council should be promoting eco-tourism in Pasco County.
